What is the Transition Nelson Governance Group Aiming to do?
The Governance Group’s aim is to find ways to ‘build bridges’ and interface Transition Nelson with Nelson City Council so that we have a healthy working relationship and together find solutions to climate change and peak oil for our community. We encourage the Council to consider climate change and peak oil in everything they do.
We have submitted Transitions Nelson’s ideas into the Nelson City Council's Annual Plan and Long Term Council Community Plan (LTCCP).
